Ujjain : The Madhav Nagar police on Wednesday arrested a youth for eve-teasing on near Talwalkars Gym at Shri Vishala Kshetra, near Rishi Nagar.
Jitendra Parmar, a resident of Dhancha bhawan, was held on the complaint of a member of Talwalkar’s Gym who was returning to her home completing her workout. The youth, who was on his bike, alighted from his vehicle and grabbed her arm, with malice. After the girl raised an alarm, accused fled from the scene threatening the girl of acid attack. A case was registered by the victim at Madhav Nagar police station under the sections 354 (Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 341 (wrongful restraint), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 294 (obscenity) of Indian Penal Code.
Later police arrested him on Wednesday and produced him before court from where he was sent to Jail.
