In a shocking incident, miscreant broke into a house belonging to one Tikam Chand Thakur, looted him and murdered him in cold blood.
The Chintaman police station is currently investigating the matter, which took place late Friday.
According to informaton available, the robbers broke into Thakur’s house in Akasoda village near Ujjain. Thakur was alone at home at the time of the crime. When he tried resisting the robbery, the robbers killed him and fled on a motorbike.
Police sources told Free Press are checking to see if the accused was known to Thakur or worked with him at any point.
