Ujjain: Incharge collector Pratibha Pal heard many public grievances during ‘jansunwai’ held on Tuesday. According to concerned officials, as many as 135 applications were considered during ‘jansunwai’.
Traffic congestion issue in old city was raised by social worker Jaiprakash Sharma. In his application he threw light on autocratic encroachments on the road and messy parking of vehicles on both sides of the road which become obstacles in smooth traffic specially in old city from Kanthal to Chhatrichowk Dhabaroad and other periphery areas.
The collector instructed the zonal official to sort out the matter. During the meeting Pal also sorted out some domestic matters of different plaintiffs and instructed concerned officials.
The matters related to land encroachments and delay in payments and bank charges over not maintaining minimum balances were also heard during ‘jansunwai’.
