UGC deadline for varsity projects extended
Bhopal: The University Grant Commission ( UGC) has extended deadline to submit proposal for development and extension in universities under the 12th plan, said sources. The new deadline wil
l give an opportunity to Barkatullah University, along with other universities of Madhya Pradesh, to send their proposals under the new five year plan. The varsity could not prepare its plan so far.
Earlier, the UGC sought proposal till June 20. now, September 30 is new date for the submission of the development and extension proposals.
Meet on women trafficking today
A workshop on alt39 Trafficking of women and commercial violence against themalt39 will be held on April 24 at RCVP Noronha Academy of Administration. The workshop will begin from 10 am. National- level resource persons including member of National committee against trafficking Ranjana Kumar will also take part in the workshop.
JICM farewell function
The JICM PGDM- C students of 2010- 2012 batch attended the farewell function. The function was very well organised and everyone seemed to be enjoying.. There were different performances by the juniors. The guest for the evening was Prof. ( Dr.) Manish Verma, Director JICM. Faculty members were present. Mr. and Ms. JICM 2012 were also selected on the basis of Ramp walk and the Talent round. Ishan Lakhina was chosen Mr JICM and Swati Mall bagged the Ms. JICM title. There were very dancing and singing performances by the juniors.
Mementoes and titles were also distributed to all the students.
Panel for Energy conservation fund
The State Government has constituted a committee for running and implementing State Energy Conservation Fund under section 16 of Energy Conservation Act 2001.
The committee will be chaired by the Chief Secretary.
Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Energy Development Corporation will be the committees Member- Secretary while its members will include Principal Secretary Finance, Principal Secretary Housing and Environment, Principal Secretary or Secretary New and Renewable Energy, Principal Secretary or Secretary Energy, Commissioner New and Renewable Energy and Chief Engineer of Madhya Pradesh Energy Development Corporation.
