Ujjain : Tongawalas narrated their plight before local MP Prof Chintamani Malviya during a public hearing held at his residence recently. In their complaint, the tongawalas told Malviya that police administration had ordered them to remove their tongas from the railway station. They also added that they will die of starvation if their tongas were stopped. Malviya immediately called DRM Ratlam and other officials concerned and directed not to remove tongawalas from the railway station. Tongawalas expressed gratitude towards Prof Malviya.
