up a public homeopathic college in Maharashtra will be put up within the next two weeks.
Dr Gavit who was speaking at Dr Hanneman Jeevan Gaurav Puraskar ceremony organized by Maharashtra Council of Homeopathy assured that concrete steps will be taken to address the demands of close to 57,000 homeopathy practitioners in the state. He said, ” Within the next two weeks, a Rs 200 crore proposal will be charted for setting up a homeopathic college in the state. We will also be giving independent charge to the deputy director of homeopathy in the state.” Homeopaths from across Maharashtra came together to demand more government support and patronage for the field of homeopathy.
