Ujjain : Simhastha Central Committee (SCC) members expressed pleasure over the Simhastha development works done across the city. They suggested installation of musical fountains at Rudra Sagar pond. The members told that the development works had made the city to head towards the line of smart city. These works had added to the beauty of the city. Members made inspection of development works on Friday.
During the inspection Minister for School Education Paras Jain directed officials for making better arrangements of Simhastha. CSFOC Chairman Makhan Singh told that the beauty of the city had blossomed with the development works. They visited Patwari Training Center where the outsider staff would stay. They also visited 14 km long bypass built by MPRDC which would reduce the traffic loads from Barnagar, Mehidpur, Unhel and Agar. Railway over bridge of Chintaman Ganesh area would be completed by February 28. Hariphatak over bridge arm would be completed by February 10.
Committee also made inspection of filter plant built by PHE at Gaughat with the cost of Rs 5.85 crore. The plant has the capacity of 27 MLD water. It has been completed before the deadline and is in the state to supply water. Members Rup Pamnani, Sonu Gehlot, Rakesh Agrawal, Prakash Chittora, Navin Arya and others imparted their valuable suggestions. They made inspection of Harsiddhi-Lalpul road. It would help in crowd management during Simhastha. Members also suggested that appropriate measures should be taken up to avoid sliding at the ghats. It was suggested that musical fountains should be installed at Rudra Sagar pond.
Fair officer Avinash Lavania told that fountains would be held at chambers. Members also suggested for the depiction the glory of King Vikramaditya during the inspection of Vikam Teela. Next they visited visitors’ facility and corridor of Mahakal Mandir, Ambodia Plant and Gambhir Intake-well.
