Ujjain: Research is a full- time work. The subject of research should be relevant to the present scenario. Research scholars should be careful in dealing with hypothesis and procedures otherwise the level of research will be down. Research scholars should be motivated to do research on traditional and practical subjects.

These views were expressed by Vikram University Vice Chancellor Prof JL Kaul during a lecture on ‘ Quality Enhancement in Research’ organised at Shalaka Dirgha for research scholars from different University departments here on Monday. Prof Kaul during his lecture said that there is an integral relation amidst hypothesis, research methodology and conclusions.

A research scholar should be careful about these things. Prof Kaul also assured research scholars for providing a compatible environment for doing research work. Quenching the curiosities of research scholars, Prof Kaul directed departmental teachers to help them as much as possible. Former Vice Chancellor Prof RC Verma, Registrar Dr BL Bunkar, Proctor Prof Shailendra Sharma, DSW Dr Rakesh Dhand and research scholars in large numbers were present on this occasion.
