In separate cases of rash and negligent driving that took place within 24 hours, three young men lost their lives.

d the drivers on alleged charges of causing death due to negligent driving. However, in Vikhroli west on Tuesday night, a BEST bus driver who allegedly ran over a 23- year- old man killing him, has not yet been identified, Parksite police said.

The first incident took place on Tuesday around 2.50 pm at Vile Parle west in front of the Nana nani park, when a motor truck driven by Durai Kavandar ( 28), a resident of DN nagar, Andheri west, rammed into Sachin Raut ( 25), a resident of Kalachowkie in Central Mumbai, killing him on the spot.

The second incident took place in the wee hours of Wednesday, where three men were changing the tires of their tempo, when a Mahindra Logan car driven by Subodh Kumar Saroj ( 24) rammed into them near the Mantri Mobile shop in Vile parle west. One of the men identified as Rajesh Pashi ( 27) died, while two others are grievously injured, said Vile Parle police.

In the last incident that took place on Tuesday in Vikhroli at 11pm on the LBS road, the victim Avdesh Gautam was crossing the road when a speeding BEST bus knocked him over.
