Procurement of Rabi crops at MSP from March 15

Divisional Commissioner ( DC) AK Pandey chaired a meeting of different departments a few days back and issued necessary directives to the officials. The officials of the Cooperative department, Civil Supply C

orporation and the General Managers of the District Cooperative Central Banks were directed to manage necessary arrangements for purchasing of Rabi crops at support price from March 15 in the division.

DC asked the officials for ensuring arrangements regarding sufficient gunny bags and weighing scales at 185 purchasing centers of the division. They were also asked to ensure arrangement of laptops and their operators and availability of lower staff. DC also issued directives to all the district officials for not to purchase wheat kept in the trolley without gunny bags.

Wheat should be weighed after containing it in gunny bags. About 67.917 lakh farmers were registered online who will sell their crops at support price.
