Ujjain: A patrolling party of Public Health Engineering ( PHE) Department was thrashed by villagers of village Pardikheda on Wednesday night. The administrative and police officials were not accompanied with the patrolling party. Bhairavgarh police registered an FIR against accused.
PHE department employees were on patrolling of Gambhir dam on Wednesday night. Collector has issued directives regarding Water Conservation Act. Five employees of PHE department went on patrolling at Pardikheda village and were searching for water theft. Accused Viju, son of Ganga Singh, Sanju, son of Bahadur, Rathore Singh, son of Ahmad and Govind, son of Lakshman thrashed them. PHE deputy engineer Manoj Agnihotri informed that they were demanding for police force several days. No cognizance was taken on their demand.
