FP NEWS SERVICE Ujjain The city Brahmin community seemed to be excited on the occasion of Lord Parshuram birth anniversary here on Tuesday. A massive Parshuram Darshan Yatra ( vehicle rally) was taken out from Mahakaleshwar temple in the m
orning under the aegis of Parshuram Yuva Brahmin Samaj. They waved saffron flags and the city echoed with slogans of Lord Parshuram.
Brahmin youths were quite excited to join the procession. The procession was accompanied with DJ bands and a chariot carrying the idol and a portrait of Lord Parshuram. Thousands of community people joined the rally on twowheelers, which culminated at Tower Chowk after passing through the main streets of the city. The programme concluded with public meeting. A human chain was also formed at Tower Chowk with a message of global peace. The vehicle rally was given welcome at various places.
Founder of Chardham temple Swami Shantiswarupanand Giri, Ramanujankot Peethadhishwar Swami Ranganathacharya and veteran astrologer Pt Anandshankar Vyas inaugurated Parshuram Darshan Yatra while garlanding the portrait of Lord Parshuram.
An aarti was performed with 101 earthen lamps.
Swami Shantiswarupanand in his address provoked community people to perform their duty which has been assigned to them by almighty. Brahmins should impart knowledge through Holy Scriptures.
Founder of Parshuram Yuva Brahmin Sangthan Pt Rajesh Trivedi, Maya Trivedi, Girish Pathak, Bhagwan Sharma, Ajayshankar Joshi, Rajesh Sharma, Yashwant Vyas, Rameshwar Dubey, Prashant Sharma, Dhananjay Sharma, Jani Guru, Diptesh Dubey, Shyam Thakkar, Surendra Chaturvedi, Pt Radheshyam Upadhayay, Surendra Sharma, Jiyalal Sharma, Kamalashankar Trivedi, Surekha Bhargava, Ritubala Vyasm Aarti Tiwari, Rameshwar Dubey, Devendra Purohit, Dhananjay Sharma, Hemant Vyas and others accompanied with the rally.
Parshuram Darshan Yatra vehicle rally was accorded warm welcome at Gopal Mandir Chowk by Congress party under the aegis of District Congress President ( DCC) Anantnarayan Meena. Shravan Sharma of Yuva Brahmin Sangthan was felicitated while tying him a turban.
Veterinary family also paid a touching welcome to the procession under the banner of MP Veterinary Officers Association. District president Rajkumar Joshi, Yogesh Shastri, Rajendra Sharma, Kamalkishore Joshi, KR Dawre and others were present on this occasion.
Procession was also welcomed by Daulatganj Sarafa Block Congress Committee in the presence of block president Azam Shaikh, former MLA Rajendra Bharti and former secretary PCC Yogesh Sharma. Brahmin community people were felicitated on this occasion. Parshuram Vibhuti Alankaran programme will be organized here on Wednesday at Mahakal Pravachan hall at 7 pm. Renowned bhajan singers Sharma brothers will be accorded Parshuram Alankaran on this occasion.
Several other programmes comprised of music, dance and singing will be held. Divisional Commissioner AK Pandey, Collector M Geetha and veteran astrologer Pt Anandshankar Vyas will be chief guests on this occasion.
