New Delhi Parliaments Public Accounts Committee, which is examining the CAGs Adarsh Housing Society report, may summon Maharashtra government officials if they fail to submit the documents related to the scam.
” We will summon them
if they do not submit the information sought by us,” PAC Chairman Murli Manohar Joshi told reporters here on Friday. He said the Maharashtra government has been asked to submit documents related to the Adarsh Housing society scam by April 28. Maharashtra government had been delaying submission of information related to the scam contending that a Commission of Inquiry set up by it had taken all the relevant documents, he said. The PAC Chairman said that he had also written to Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar in this regard.
