OUR STAFF REPORTER Indore A TATA vehicle, car rying labourers, tur ned turtle near Gomatgiri under the Aerodrome police on Tuesday, killing one woman and injuring over dozen.
According to police, the accident took place in the even
ing when the driver truck, coming from Depalpur, lost control of it near Gomatgiri and it overturned burying the occupants.
Police and local people came to their rescue and saved the those buried under the vehicle with great difficulty.
Police said one woman was killed in the mishap while dozen others were injured, thr ee of them— Subabai, Amrit and Sourabh— critically.
The deceased was identified as Bayabai ( 35) wife of Inder Singh and a resident of MOG Lines, w ho died on the spot.
All the injured are residents of MOG Lines.
Eyewitnesses said that the driver lost control over the wheels because of speeding.
After the accident, the driver fled the scene.
Among the injured, condition of three is stated to be critical Driver is absconding
