Ujjain: A altercation between a ward boy and a female nurse at the operating theater at Civil Hospital on late Monday led to frayed tempers with the latter accusing the ward boy of molesting her. The female nurse was on duty at the hospital and was sleeping at operation theatre. Ward boy Vikas Kadam reached the operation theatre and allegedly molested her. Soon, the nurse was joined by other nurses and they started raising slogans against the hospital staff.
However, the Civil Surgeon Dr DS Gaharwar intervened and sorted out the matter. The ward boy was transferred to Madhav Nagar hospital. The CH has been a witness to ugly scenes in the last couple of days, putting a question mark on the discipline among the hospital staff and the management policy of the authorities.
