Ujjain: BJP leader and Madhya Pradesh former chief minister Uma Bharati here on Monday said that nothing is permanent in politics and ideology keeps changing from time to time.

She was talking to media persons outside the Circuit House. She arrived here in the afternoon and left for Delhi by Hazrat Nizamuddin Express in the evening.
Several local leaders, including BJP chief Iqbal Singh Gandhi and others welcomed her. She also visited the Mahakaleshwar Temple to seek blessings of the presiding deity to get success in Jhansi parliamentary constituency where the BJP has fielded her.
Uma said that she had made certain comments on Narendra Modi and his government at the time when she was not in the BJP. “ When I launched the Bharatiya Jan Shakti party, I had made comments on different issues and on several leaders and other leaders also made comments on me, but I do not want to create new controversy now as it may create problems for many,” she said. She refused to comment on ‘ Har- Har Modi, Ghar- Ghar Modi’ slogan controversy.
She, however, flayed former Union minister Jasvant Singh for his decision to contest as an independent candidate from Barmer ( Rajasthan). “ Singh had taught me a lesson when I left the BJP and he even issued me a charge- sheet and now he is breaking the discipline of the party,” she added.
