is healthy and energetic. It has also introduced elaichi ( cardamom) powder and Madras filter coffee. Kanakia Tea has also launched special quality Herbal Green Tea, which is ideal for people with cholesterol, diabetes etc. Kanakia Tea procures tea directly from tea gardens and tea auctions, mainly from Aasam, Kolkata and Guwahati and is of consistent high quality with strong flavour and taste. The owner plans to expand its retail chain shops on franchise basis. At present, it has 2 shops situated at Prarthna Samaj and Chira Bazar.
