Ujjain : A beautiful concoction of oldies and modern music was witnessed in the auditorium of Kalidas Academy Sankul Hall which hosted the musical concert ‘Musical Fiesta-2014’ on June 20. From instrumental to vocal, young and mature artistes showcased their talent through varied performances at the programme.As the melodies developed, the audience was drawn into its tunes and rhythms and a contemplative ardor descended upon both the audience and players. The auditorium reverberated with the combined performances of guitar, drums, keyboard and Congo transformed the daily life into an extra- ordinary experience during the 4 hour concert.
In what called a celebration of talents, the students of Aryan Music Academy (AMA) performed gloriously at the concert. Director AMA Abhijeet Apte, after his formal welcome address, said this musical concert was an attempt to create awareness about Indian music in the younger generation. Under the arrangement of Apte, Shivesh, Akash Soumya and Karan were the guitarists for the event, while Animesh and Vineet thumped the audience with their beats on Drums, while Congo was played by Sagar. Live vocal performances of Rinky, Vineet, Rekha Nambudiri, and Girish Makwana thrilled the audience. CSP Vijay Dawar, was the chief guest on the occasion.
