nite period of time is called gram.’These were the views expressed by Professor of Instrument and Music of Government Girls College Moti Tabela Indore Dr Ragini Trivedi during the day- long workshop organised by Music Department of Girls Degree College.
Government Girls Kalidas College principal Dr Satish Gaud in his address said that music is the expression of soul. Even music gives pleasure to that persons, who knows nothing about it. The workshop was sponsored by University Grant Commission and chaired by Principal Dr Mohammad Ishaque. He said music is an integral part of our life and it affects our personality. Pt Ramakant Dubey was also present on the occasion. Students of Music Department enthralled everyone while performing musical prayer of Goddess Saraswati. During the second session of workshop, renowned Gajal singer and AIR artist Umesh Bhatt performed bhajan, songs, Sufi songs and gajals. Varsha Agrawal gave guest introduction.
Programme was conducted by Dr Archana Parmar while vote of thanks was proposed by Lokesh Vahane.
