OUR STAFF REPORTER Bhopal Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Ltd ( MPPMCL) and Power Trading Corporation ( PTC) signed Power Purchase Agreement ( PPA) on Monday.
In the presence of managing director of MPPMCL KC Badkul, CGM of
the company AB Vajpayee and executive vice- president of PTC SS Sharma have signed PPA on the occasion.
According to PPA Torrent Power Company Ltd ( TPCL) through the medium of PTC will provide 35 megawatt electricity to the state in the upcoming season of Rabi crop in December.
According to Badkul TPCL has Unosugen gas based thermal power house at Surat in Gujarat.
Total 100 megawatt electricity has already been supplied to MP by the three units of the TPCL thermal power house.
Badkul also added the state will get 35 megawatt of power from the fourth unit of the gas based power plant.
Electricity Regulatory Commission will decide about the electricity charges.
