More than 21,000 posts sanctioned in state cops

As many as 21,000 posts of various categories in State police force have been sanctioned.

In the first phase, recruitment of 6,517 constables will be made.

The selection will be based on wr

itten examination and physical efficiency test. No marks will be given for interview in the recruitment process.

This was said by home minister Umashankar Gupta.

Madhya Pradesh Vyavsayik Prariksha Mandal ( Vyapam) will conduct examination for the recruitment of constables.

Applications are being invited on- line from the candidates, through authorized kiosks. The examination will be held on September 30.

There will be a single examination for the post of constables in district police force, government railway police force, police training schools, special branch, crime research department and special armed force.

Vyapam will conduct the written test and also make the final result.
