A memorandum was handed over to Vikram University Vice- Chancellor ( VC) Prof TR Thapak by University Teachers’Association ( VUTA) in protest against the suspension of Dr Sudhir Jain of School of Studies in Micro Biology here on Monday.
On Saturday, a proposal of condemnation was adopted by VUTA. Notably, Dr Jain was made in- charge of University hostel- A block. Dr Jain expressed inability in discharging his duty due to mismanagement prevailed in hostels and due to some family reasons. VU administration suspended Dr Jain for not practicing his duty as hostel in- charge. Memorandum was submitted to VC in protest of suspension of Dr Jain under the leadership of VUTA president Dr Umesh Kumar Singh. About 20 varsity teachers were present on this occasion.
When teachers approached VC to hand over the memorandum, VC abused them badly.
