BHOPAL: Unidentified looters snatched away the mangalsutra of a teacher in Shahpura area barely 24 hours after the loot with a Top Town franchise owner in the same locality. The looters strike again in broad daylight.
The police said, a resident of Gulmohar Apartment under Shahpura police area Usha Sharma 55, wife of Rajendra Sharma is a teacher in Railway School at Itarsi.
On Friday evening at around 5 pm, she was coming home on her Scooty.
Near the gate of Vasant Kunj Colony, two motorcycle borne looters came from hind and snatched away her mangalsutra worth around Rs 0,000, the police added.Usha raised an alarm but the looters sped on their motorcycle. On Wednesday night, at around 11.30 pm, a Top town franchise owner Ashish Sharma was looted of Rs 7000, mobile and ATM card in the same locality.The looters also injured him in the hand with a knife. An hour later, the same looters snatched away Rs 11000, mobile and ATM from a bank recovery agent, Jagdish Mehra.
