Indore A lesbian love story came out of Indore district jail here on Friday. The concluding episode neared when jail administration separated on of the w

omen inmates from her cellmate and she attempted to commit suicide with cutting her vein with a sharp stone. It is said that the duo were in love for long time and jail administration was aware of it, and that is why the administration had separated them.

The love story was exposed when a woman prisoner of district jail Uma attempted to commit suicide with cutting her vein with a sharp stone. After her preliminary treatment, jail superintendent Dinesh Nargave interrogated her and was shocked to know her lesbian love story. She told the jailer that she fell in love with another woman prisoner Savita, who was also imprisoned in her barrack.

After falling in love the duo prisoners developed the relationship and many a times were found in objectionable condition in jail.

When the jail administration failed to counsel them in this regard, they shifted Uma from the barrack and she attempted to commit suicide with cutting her vein with a sharp stone.

Jail Superintendent Nargave said that he has initiated an inquiry into the matter.

Sources said that Uma is undergoing imprisonment in a murder case and fell in love with Savita some time back. Uma wanted to take revenge from jail administrations decision to shift her that is why she attempted to commit suicide with cutting her vein with a sharp edged stone.
