Ujjain : A labourer attacked over his wife with axe and chopped-off her leg at Hira Mills Ki Chawl on Monday. Accused has been identified as Laxman resident of Belakhedi village while injured woman was identified as Geeta. According to Dewasgate Police, Laxman had doubt over the character of his wife. Both of them were working as labourer at the under construction bridge of zero point and were presently living at Hira Mills Ki Chawl. When Geeta did not return to home from her work on Sunday night, furious Laxman attacked on his wife with axe and chopped-off her left leg in intoxicated state on Monday morning. Victim is out of danger and being treated at Patidar Hospital. Dewasgate Police has arrested the accused and has registered the case under Section 307 of IPC.
