Ujjain: Jain Social Group (JSG) organised a mothers’ felicitation programme recently. Renowned gynecologist Dr Anshu Ghosh in her address said that the word ‘Maa’ is very small, but it has depth like the ocean. Mother is a school of immense energy and always lives her life for others. She is the creator of life. Death rate of mothers at the time of delivery is a matter of concern in India. India is on 52nd position in comparison to developing countries.
Government is not making enough efforts to decrease death rate of mothers at the time of delivery. Priti Gadia performed Mangalacharan. Sangita Jain welcomed the guests. The group felicitated 21 mothers by presenting them citation and shawl. Neeta Dhawal conducted the programme while Dr Chitra Jain proposed the vote of thanks.
