Taking a dig at the Congress- led United Progressive Alliance ( UPA) over petrol price hike, MP Kailash Joshi said the Central Government increased price of petrol in just 18 hours.
The UPA governme
nt increased prices 12 times since June 2010 when price was decontrolled. The RBI increased interest rates 12 times and raised inflation.
It indicated that the entire system is out of control.

There is need to control the market in a better way to check the inflation. Middle men, hoarders, sattaplayers should be nailed. It has been mentioned in Narendra Modi Committee that agriculture products should be exempted from future trading purview. But the Central Government does not seem to be serious about it, Joshi added.
