Woman trapped by ATM rescued

Sydney: A ustralian firefighters today performed one of their most unusual rescues – freeing an elderly woman whose fingers got stuck in a bank ATM. The fire service was called in to a hospital in Sydney after security guards found the women distressed with three of her fingers jammed in the slot that dispenses cash, ABC radio reported. The crew prised the front panel away from the machine to free her. ” Ialt39ve been in the job 37 years and never had one of these,” firefighter Steve Webb said.

” She was in the main foyer of Campbelltown Hospital with the little finger, well three fingers, stuck up inside where the money comes out. ” There were about six security guys and four firies ( firemen) and we couldnalt39t understand how it had happened. ” After we prised the front panel away from the whole machine, it was just enough for her to release her hand herself.”

Lost Beatles video found after 48 years

London: A rare footage of a Beatles concert in the US has been found after 48 years.

The half- an- hour 12- song set, filmed at the Washington Coliseum in 1964, was the bands first full US gig, reported BBC online.

It was originally broadcast to two million American cinemagoers in March 1964, a month after it was recorded. The footage then disappeared. The lost video will now be part of a 92- minute documentary entitled alt39 The Beatles: The Lost Concertalt39, which includes an interview with Chuck Berry. It will premiere in New Yorks Ziegfield Theater on May 6. It will be screened in theatres across America on 17 and 22 May.
