The Dena Bank cricket team won the ” Sir Benegal Ramarau Trophy” for Inter- Bank Cricket Tournament conducted by the RBI Sports Club, defeating the defending champions Bank of Maharashtra by 144 runs, in Mumbai on April 20. The banks management felicitated the cricket team for the bringing the laurels to the bank.

Shields presented on WRalt39S 57TH Railway Week
Mahesh Kumar, GM/ WR, presenting the prestigious shield of Best Division to Lokesh Narayan, Divisional Railway Manager, Ratlam, and his team during the 57th Railway Week Award function at Y B Chavan Auditorium.
Mumbai Central Division bagged 5 shields for outstanding performance in commercial, mechanical, operations and electrical depts. Girish Pillai, Divisional Rly Manager, Mumbai Central, received the shields from Mahesh Kumar. Western Railway Best Maintained Train Award went to 12915/ 16 Ahmedabad- New Delhi Ashram Express while second Best Maintained Train Shield was awarded to 19023/ 24 Mumbai Central- Firozepur Janta Express. Mahesh Kumar also gave away 20 efficiency shields to the divisions and the units which have been adjudged the most efficient in various fields for 2011- 12.
On the occasion of completion of 150 years of narrow gauge system on Western Railway in Vadodara division, a Special Postal Cover was also released. Abha Singh, Director Postal Services ( HQ) was the distinguished guest. A K Sinha, Chief Personnel Officer( IR), Aditya Kumar, Dy GM ( G), Deepak Gupta, Addl GM and senior officers & staff were present on the function.
