Jain said the comments made by the Union minister of state for food supply in a letter sent to chief minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan were not based on reality. He said despite the non- cooperative attitude of the Centre, the wheat procurement was going on smoothly. The minister said the Congress was making false claims that the state had 88,000 bales of gunny bag, which was baseless and misleading. In fact, the gunny bags bought two years ago were used during the last crop season, Jain added.
