Ujjain :Cheques of compensation for Qamari Marg and Agar Road widening work was given to affected people by Ujjain Municipal Corporation (UMC), on Friday. UMC distributed compensation of Rs 8 crore earlier. Land owners who were left for compensation were distributed cheques worth Rs 2.69 crore. Mayor Rameshwar Akhand handed over cheques to 108 land owners during a programme.
Municipal Commissioner Avinash Lavania, corporators Shivendra Tiwari, Rajat Mehta and others were present. Jagdish Panchal conducted the programme.
