Raipur: A delegation of Confederation of Indian Industry ( CII), Western Zone met Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh in Mumbai on Thursday. During the meeting, Dr Singh informed the dele
gation about ample opportunities of development of industries in Chhattisgarh for the economical betterment of people of the state.
Dr Singh invited them to attend the alt39 Rajyotsavaalt39, which will be held in state capital Raipur this year. CM said that an investorsalt39 meet will be held on the occasion of 12th foundation day of Chhattisgarh state during the alt39 Rajyotsavaalt39. He called on the investors to play an important role in the meet. Dr Raman Singh further said that leading core sector industries like steel, cement, power and other such major industries have developed a lot in the state.
The CII delegation expressed wish to invest in the down stream industry sectors like automobile unit, solar energy equipments, agro processing based industries and other such. On this occasion, CMs secretary and energy secretary Aman Kumar Singh and special officiating officer Vikram Sisodiya were also present with chief minister.
Representative of various leading industrial companies like CII vice president and managing director of TATA Chemicals R Mukandan, regional director of CII Charu Mathur, Ajanta Pharmas vice president Madhusudan Agrawal and VK Goyal of Goyal Groups and others were also present during the meeting with chief minister.
Speedy computerisation of applications: Gram Suraj FPJ NEWS SERVICE Raipur: The computerisation work of the applications received during the state wide 7th Gram Suraj Abhiyan conducted under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh is under process on a war footing at all the 27 district headquarters of the state.
Till May 23, over 3.82- lakh applications have been registered on the governments web- site. Along with the computerisation of the applications, the solutions are also under progress speedily by government.
According to web- site around 68,000 applications have been solved till now.
The applicants are being informed about the status of their applications through telephone. For this facility, the applicants can get information by sending an SMS on GS< space< 09212357123. This year, the maximum of around 2- lakh applications have been registered in panchayat and rural development department.
Notably, under the leadership of CM Dr Raman Singh, the state wide Gram Suraj Abhiyan was conducted in two phases in over 20,000 villages from April 18 to 27.
