OUR STAFF REPORTER Indore Thieves broke into several places in the city and decamped with booty worth lakhs.
The first theft occurred under Rajendra Nagar police circle where thieves entered into the house of Harisingh son of Bheru
lal Raghuvanshi located in Duttnagar and stole Rs 1.10 lakh cash. Harisingh is a civil contractor and the money was kept for wages to be distributed to the workers.
At the time of incident, Harisingh and his family had gone to their native village Bardari in Dhar district to attend a wedding.
The theft was discovered when the family returned to the city on Monday.
The second theft occurred under Banganga police circle.
Unidentified pickpocket stole the wallet of one Tejsingh of Mahesh Guard Lines. The victim kept Rs 7000 cash, A TM Card and identity card in the wallet.
The third theft occurred under MG Road police circle where thieves broke into Kalka Mata Mandir located on Tilakpath and stole Rs 3,000 cash, DVD player and brass bell valued at Rs 10000.
The fourth theft occurred under Vijay Nagar Police Circle where thieves broke into Indore Guest House located on AB Road and stole two laptops. The laptops belonged to Abhi Jain and were valued at Rs 1 lakh.
Police have registered cases in all instances and are investigating.
