Thats the reason I am very finicky about the restaurants I visit with my girlfriend on weekends. Lately, a friend told me about this hap joint called Bombay Blues at Linking Road. I went there last Saturday and for a change, I really liked the place! The ambience, which I seek out everywhere, was perfect and those sketches of alt39 Ancient Bombayalt39 were the main show stealer. After watching the menu, my guesses about the prices proved to be wrong as its actually a very economical place. We had sizzlers followed by the brownie and we were utterly satisfied with the quality of food. Its a perfect place to hang out with you partner anytime.
GunnersMcGee Combos are a good deal – top notch place Bombay Blue is a hair more expensive than it should be but the food is high quality. Soya Chicken is what I tend to get and its great- love the sauces and the care things are prepared with. Comfortable and fun tooa great place to come and chill out and spoil yourself every once in a while.
Wish I could afford to go more often- when I do I get the combo meals on the back which are a decent bargain.
Service is really bad thoughmakes no sense b/ c the place has a feel of a restaurant that would have great service, but they donalt39t. Slow in every department, especially when you want the bill or to order something additional. Theres kind of an overall bewildered look. Has me laughing every time- at least theyalt39re consistent! mitz82 small quantities for big price I have been to different bombay blues but had a bad experience at bandra one may be it had to do with what i ordered but still expected it to be average in taste… in short they serve very good chole bhature, pav bhaji, pizzas but what i liked the most was mutton kheema priced at 200rs for very small quantity… sticking to chole bhature, pizzas is value according to me.
