Higher education minister Lakshmikant Sharma performed bhoomi pujan and laid the foundation of proposed multipurpose building at Government Madhav Science College here on Saturday.

Bhoomi puan was held at Chemistry PG block and construction of proposed building worth Rs 2.75 crore. Sharma in his speech praised the college. He said innumerable intelligent students have been pursued their education from the institution and they are serving world at far places.
Therefore the institution needs grooming and sooner a new multi purpose building will be standing aside the old one. MLA Shivnarayan Jagirdar approved fund for girls’ hostel and renovation of old premises.
On this occasion, State Tourism Development Corporation chairman Mohan adav and Vikram University Registrar Dr B L Bunkar also put his thoughts.
