FPJ SPORTS DESK Mumbai Indias No. 1 snooker pro Aditya Mehta registered his third win against Karam Fatima of Syria 4- 0 at the 28th Asian Snooker Championships at Doha, Qatar. Playing well throughout the match, Aditya sealed the match wit

h a couple of 40 breaks in the last frame.

Earlier, on Saturday he had defeated Pakistans National Champ Muhammad Asif and Mubarak Alowais of Kuwait on Sunday.

In both the matches, Aditya won with a whooping 4- 2 and 4- 0 score line respectively.

Speaking on the win an over whelmed Mehta said, ‘It feels good to be winning consecutively for the third time opposite tough competitors. Personally, it is quite an achievement for me today considering that Karam currently holds the highest break of the tournament.’Aditya has already won a silver medal in the earlier Asian Tournament.

Mehta still has three more matches to go.

Only two of the 7 players will qualify into the last sixteen after which it gets into a Knock out format. He will now play against Bashar Hussain Abdulmajid of Qatar today, 24th April. Over 40 players representing 15 countries have entered the contest currently underway on at Doha.
