Addicted youth takes deadly jump from hosp, dies

Ujjain :  Alcohol addiction claimed another young life here in city on Thursday. An alcohol addicted youth who was admitted in a hospital took a deadly jump from hospital roof.

Yogesh (36) alias Bablu son of Shivnarayan, a resident of Indira Nagar, took the death jump from 6th floor roof of the RD Gardi Medical College, he died on the spot. He took the extreme step as soon as his parents were out for some errands. Yogesh was admitted in the hospital on July 22 on accounts of liver diseases. It was told that he was suffering from acute liver damage because of his severe alcohol addiction. Doctors were treating him best as possible but due to severe liver damage they were unable to recover him from his deteriorating condition.

Deceased’s parents told that possibly because of addiction and deteriorating health he committed suicide. Chimanganj Mandi police reached the spot and shifted the body to civil hospital for post mortem. Police have also registered a case in this regard.
