Ujjain : A large number of devout Jain community members flocked at Indore road located Tapo Bhumi to celebrate the Parna ritual on Tuesday. The function started with a procession of presiding deity, Shri Ji. The community members pulled the silver chariot to Ragho-Piplya road. Later seer Pragya Sagar inaugurated the Parna ceremony where food was offered to fasting disciples, those have been fasting during Paryushana festival. Total 32 disciples were offered food by seer. A discourse of seer was also organised on the occasion. 200 participants who had been residing in camps during the Paryushana were also felicitated.
