About 103 couples, including 96 Hindus and seven Muslims tied nuptial knot
during a mass marriage programme. State Planning Commission Vice Chairman Babulal Jain, Mayor Rameshwar Akhand, former Union Minister Satyanarayan Jatia, BJP city president Anil Jain Kaluheda, Municipal Speaker Sonu Gehlot, president of WCD Rajani Kotwani, City Quazi Khalikurrehman and others were present on this occasion.

Workshop was conducted under the guidance of Project officer Madhumati Sirole. Statistical Officer Anup Shrivastava in his address said that there should be public awareness to stop child marriage.
