There are reports that around seven people have suffered serious injuries due to these speed breakers.

These tyre killers pose a risk of injury to pedestrians. According to media reports, several people have already been injured due to this new device. Citizens of Thane are requesting the installation of such devices in less busy areas rather than near the busy roads leading to the station.

What did TMC focus on?

TMC has mainly focused on preventing wrong-side driving, as any vehicle that goes in the wrong direction can damage its tyres.
