Television actress Tunisha Sharma was found dead on the sets of her show on December 24. Her post-mortem was completed at Mumbai's JJ Hospital on Sunday morning.
According to the autopsy report, Tunisha died due to suffocation after hanging. Contrary to speculations, the report reveals that wasn't pregnant, according to India Today.
Also, no injury marks were found on her body.It was earlier speculated that Tunisha was expecting a child with co-star and boyfriend Shezaan Khan. According to a report in ABP, Madam Sir actress Preeti Taneja had claimed that Tunisha was pregnant with Shezaan's child and when the actor refused to marry her, she committed suicide.
Anxiety and depression
According to Tunisha's former co-star and Pandya Store actress Simran Budharup, the actress had issues of anxiety, depression.In an interview with India Today, Simran also revealed that Tunisha's family life was 'not all hunky-dory'.
Shezaan arrested
Waliv Police arrested Sheezan Khan after a case of the abetment to suicide was registered against him. Tunisha's mother had filed a complaint against him. He will be presented in court on Monday.
Police have said they will investigate the death of TV actor Tunisha from both the murder and suicide angles. People present on the sets of the serial the actress was last working on, claimed that she had died by suicide.
Tunisha's acting career
Tunisha made her acting debut with 'Bharat Ka Veer Putra - Maharana Pratap'. She also worked in shows like 'Ishq Subhan Allah', 'Gabbar Poonchwala', 'Sher-e-Punjab: Maharaja Ranjit Singh', and 'Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat'.
The actor also appeared in Bollywood movies including 'Fitoor', 'Baar Baar Dekho', 'Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh', and 'Dabangg 3'.
