You are the developer of the ‘My Child app’. An app that screens developmental disorders in 45 seconds. Tell me how does it help?  How did that idea come to you to develop such an app?

I have been into computers and technology since childhood, and suffering from a developmental disorder myself gave me the idea to do something which will help other parents in not suffering as much as mine did.

When I was suffering from the problem it took my parents over 9 years to figure it out, now with the app it just takes 45 seconds for other parents who use the app.

My Child App offers the screening of disorders that a child might be having by asking a few questions about the child from the parent and then giving the output in the form of a suggestion.

Is it commercially available for citizens and doctors?

Yes, it is used by more than 7000+ users in more than 100 countries.

What have been milestones in your life? What could be your next milestone?

There hasn’t been any such thing as milestone. I have a deep philosophy that if you want to change the world or bring a difference just do it. Don’t wait for anyone else to create what you want.

My next milestone is to make sure that every parent around the world uses my child app.

Who has influenced you most in your life? Why?

Elon musk for sure. He has always proved that if you have a dream and want to make a difference you can do it. It’s just because of perseverance.

Harsh Songra, is a nineteen year old developer of the ‘My Child app’. An app that screens developmental disorders in 45 seconds. It took his parents nine years to identify that he suffers from dyspraxia, a developmental coordination disorder (DCD)

Are you ambitious? If yes, have you chalked out your life? Does planning help?

Ambitious is just a clichéd word for me. If you have a dream and you are willing to perceive for it, there is nothing which could stop it. And if we got by this philosophy, yes I have chalked out my life of being an entrepreneur who will make a difference.

How have you tackled setbacks in life? What keeps you going? Have you ever wanted to give it all up and do something else?

I never gave up. You know, when you are an entrepreneur your life is full of uncertainties. Life hits back hard but the strength of getting back up comes when your are dedicated to your dream and keeps on moving.

India has a multitude of talent. And yet, we are unable to make rapid strides like China. How do we harness talent in India and channelize it?

I don’t know whether I am qualified enough to comment on it. I have dropped out now and I have realised that to harness the talent we don’t need to train people to get inside the book, but to get to the outside world to actually learn the reality.
