Go, drop your iPad

Okay, not deliberately! But if you have this Logitec device then you can (almost) afford to.  The Big Bang is an impact-protective case for the iPad Air 2.  It offers protection for “everyday oops-moments”.

Made from shock-absorbent material, it protects your precious gadget from drops.  Durable material also guards it against bumps and scratches, while it is also liquid repellent, covered with shock-absorbent material (protects it from screen impact) and is otherwise “ultra protective”.

It has been drop protection tested from upto 1.4 metres height.  The screen impact is enabled when the case cover is closed.  If this sounds impressive, it also exceeds military drop standards!

Goodbye to Microsoft clip art

PCmag.com tells us that the days of inserting “cartoonish images” into PowerPOint presentations or Word documents have come to an end.  Microsoft says its Office.com Clip Art and imagine library has been closed. Users will now have to use the Bing Image Search to add images to their reports and other files.  Bing has its own copyright filter, and taps into Creative Commons licensed-work.  This allows you to ensure you are free to use the images that pop up. Another victory for sharable

and copyleft over the proprietorial approach? You can also search for images at http://images.google.com or the Creative Commons search engines.
