The upcoming iPhone 17 series has seen its pricing and key details leak ahead of launch. According to a post by X account Indian Tech and Infra, the iPhone 17 will start at Rs. 79,900 in India. Meanwhile, the brand new iPhone 17 Air is expected to be priced from Rs. 90,000, and the premium iPhone 17 Pro could start at a steep Rs. 1,45,000. These base prices are for the entry-level storage variants, and higher storage options will push prices further.

One of the most striking features this year may not just be the specs, but the aesthetics. Apple is reportedly preparing a special Liquid Glass-inspired white colour option for the iPhone 17 Pro (according to MacWorld). This unique finish is said to be influenced by iOS 26’s visual theme and will change hues depending on how light hits the surface—adding a dynamic look to the Pro’s redesigned rear panel. Unlike previous models that featured a square camera module, the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max adopt a sleeker, rectangular camera housing that’s aligned horizontally for a cleaner design language.

iPhone 17 lineup expected specifications

In terms of display and performance, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is set to lead the lineup with a massive 6.9-inch OLED screen offering 120Hz ProMotion refresh rate. Under the hood, it will be powered by the new A19 Pro chip and will pack a substantial 5,000mAh battery. Photography will also see a boost, with the device featuring three 48-megapixel rear cameras and a 24-megapixel front sensor. The slightly smaller iPhone 17 Pro will offer a 6.3-inch OLED display with the same chipset and camera specifications, though it is expected to feature a marginally reduced battery capacity.

The iPhone 17 Air will be the thinnest of the lineup, measuring just 5.5mm in thickness. It will house a 6.6-inch OLED display and offer only a single 48-megapixel rear camera, and be powered by a modest 2,800mAh battery. The standard iPhone 17 will come with a 6.3-inch screen, a dual rear camera setup comprising 48-megapixel and 12-megapixel sensors, and an expectedly balanced spec sheet.

iPhone 17 lineup rumoured colour options

The colour options across the range may also see significant variety. The iPhone 17 may launch in Black, White, Steel Gray, Green, Purple, and Light Blue. The iPhone 17 Air is likely to be available in Black, White, Light Gold, and Light Blue, while the iPhone 17 Pro may come in Black, White, Gray, Dark Blue, and a bold new Orange variant.

Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 17 series in early September, in line with its typical launch schedule. As leaks continue to surface, excitement is already building up.
