The latest episode of WWE RAW took place at the Tampa, Florida (Yuengling Center). With the next pay-per-view of Money in the Bank on the horizon, qualifying matches continued in the episode while there was a massive development in the feud between CM Punk and Seth Rollins as the former launched a sneak attack.
The night opened with the Dangerous Alliance's trio of Bronson Reed, Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker. With the crowd chanting for CM Punk and booing the trio, they derided the spectators. Rollins also promised to win the Money in The Bank qualifying match later in the night and cash in the same. The opening bout of the night was the Money in the Bank qualifying match between Penta, Chad Gable and Dragon Lee. Penta won the game after pinning Gable and sealed his qualification for the ladder match.
Next up Akira Tozawa faced Rusev, who hardly took time to defeat his opponent by applying the Accolade. The World Tag Team Championship was put on the line by The Creed Brothers against War Raiders and The New Day. The New Day, involving Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods won the title after the latter rolled up Julius. The women's division saw the returning Liv Morgan face Kairi Sane, who defeated one half of the tag team champion.
The main event of the night was the triple threat Money in the Bank qualifying match between Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn and Finn Balor. Rollins sealed the win after hitting Balor with the curb stomp on the steel chair. With Punk's music hitting, Breakker and Reed patrolled the ramp, but the former WWE championc came through the crowd to hit Rollins with the Go to Sleep before returning.
