On the August 4 episode of WWE RAW, what started as a standard post-title defense promo turned into personal grudge between WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch and Hall of Famer Nikki Bella. Lynch destroyed Nikki with one of the most personal insults targeting her past with John Cena.
Becky Lynch taunts Nikki Bella
Lynch coldly said, “Let’s get real Seth and I are the greatest wrestling couple of all time… which would’ve been you and someone else—if you could still see him.”. She punctuated the dagger with John Cena’s signature “You Can’t See Me” gesture, a ruthless callback to Nikki’s former fiancé. The crowd erupted with chants of “holy sh*t,” as Nikki’s expression turned from rage to disbelief.
Nikki snapped back, calling Becky a “liar like her husband” and a “scared little girl,” before throwing down a challenge for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. But before she could even brace for a response, Becky clocked her with a sucker punch
Why did John Cena and Nikki Bella split?
