Renowned Bollywood actress Preity Zinta has been among the notable figures to make an appearance for the Wimbledon 2025 Men's final between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner. Although the veteran actress said she wants the best player to win but claimed to have a soft spot for Alcaraz's drop shot.

Alcaraz entered into the final as an overwhelming favourite to win the contest, having emerged victorious in the last two Wimbledon deciders too. He had also defeated Sinner in the Roland Garros 2025 final; hence, the latter will be keen to avenge that loss.

When asked during an interaction with Star Sports, Zinta said:

"Well that's why I said I'm happy to be here without stressing about who is winning. So, let the best man win. This has been a year where across the border in a lot of tournaments, there has been a lot of new winners, so you never know. But I have a little bit of soft spot for Alcaraz's drop shot. I wish I could replicate it in my own little way somewhere. But I don't want to pick any favourites."

"I'm here to unwind, relax, have fun with my husband" - Preity Zinta

Zinta, who is usually present during IPL matches as the owner of the Punjab Kings, also stated:

"I'm here to unwind, relax, have fun with my husband and enjoy a game of once which is not cricket but Tennis and not stress."

At the time of writing this, Alcaraz had already claimed the first set 6-4.
