20-year-old Ayush Shetty ended India's title drought in the singles competition this season after winning the US Open Super 300 title. Ayush beat Canada's Brian Yang 21-18, 21-13 in 47 minutes on Sunday to cap off an impressive week, which included a come-from-behind win against top seed Chou Tien Chen in the semifinals. This was also his maiden title on the BWF circuit.
