Virat Kohli is leading the Indian cricket team from the front. His performance with the bat speaks enough of his success story. He is also very much popular on social media and if KL Rahul is to be believed, his skipper is very particular about his beard. Recently, Rahul shared a video on Twitter and captioned it as, “Haha, I knew you were obsessed with your beard @imVkohli but this news of you getting your beard insured confirms my theory.”
In the video, Kohli is sitting on a sofa where a man can be seen measuring Virat’s beard while the other is clicking pictures from various angles. The person is then seen taking a sample by plucking Kohli’s beard and putting it in the plastic bag. In the end, Kohli also signs a piece of paper. As per the reports, If Kohli does get his beard insured, he will probably be India’s first sports celebrity to have a body part insured. Argentina and Barcelona forward Lionel Messi has got his legs insured for a staggering 750 million dollars.
Meanwhile, earlier, Kohli’s wax statue was unveiled at the Madame Tussauds museum in Delhi. But the Indian skipper’s statue had to be taken away within a day because of damage. Talking about the professional front, Kohli will next be seen in action against Ireland and England. Currently, he is suffering from a neck injury which prevented him from playing his maiden County cricket in England.
