However, even as eight teams are participating in the Champions Trophy, India's flag couldn't be spotted at the top of the National Stadium in Karachi along with all other nations'. Nevertheless, a section of Indian fans were unfazed about it.

India are the only team among the eight who will play all their matches in Dubai as the BCCI refused to send their side in Pakistan, citing security concerns. Hence, netizens believe this was the reason that the tri-colour wasn't spotted at the top of the National Stadium in Karachi along with other flags.

Pakistan, meanwhile, will start as the defending champions ahead of the 2025 edition, having sealed their first title in 2017 by defeating arch-rivals in the final in London. The Men in Green, captained by Sarfaraz Ahmed, amassed 338 in the final, spearheaded by Fakhar Zaman's hundred. Later, fiery spells from Mohammad Amir and Hasan Ali ensured that India got nowhere close to the target.
Pakistan will start the tournament against New Zealand on February 19 in Karachi. India, meanwhile, will get their campaign underway against Bangladesh on February 20 and will play all their matches at the same venue. The massive clash between India and Pakistan will take place on February 23.
